Lalou is both a wine shop and a meeting space. We focus on the experience: stories about wine showing the relationship between the place of origin, the winemaker intention and the particular vintage nature.

We focus on Burgundy, Champagne, Jura, Loire Valley, and widely understood natural wines, including the orange wines category. That’s our backbone. However, we find pleasure and strength in wines from outside these regions, classic ones, new wave ones, and old school wines.

Thanks to feeling the energy of wine, we know who is behind it, who they are, how they see the world. This convergence is essential to us. We know many winemakers personally, and we are friends with a number of them. Organic, biodynamic, low-intervention wines, modernists, terroirists, authenticists, and naturalists are the essence of wine. They have what we are looking for - energy!
